Senior Michael Sly of Peninsula finished seventh in the Class 3A 189-pound division and Seahawks sophomore Casey Larson wound up eighth at 130 pounds during Saturday's action at Mat Classic XXIII at the Tacoma Dome.

Three vehicle crash blocks Key Peninsula traffic with injuries

A F-150 pick-up driver was unable to stop before rear-ending a Peninsula School District bus carrying a half dozen Key Peninsula Middle School students Thursday afternoon on the Key Peninsula Highway near the Lake Minterwood neighborhood. The children were either uninjured or received minor injuries in the accident. The driver of the F-150 was transported priority from the scene by Key Peninsula Fire District 16 medic units to St. Anthony hospital with what Division Chief Chuck West were guarded injuries.
